Luis is the owner of Trompo Tacos, an award winning restaurant in Oak Cliff with deep roots in the neighborhood. He opened Trompo in 2016 and quickly took the local and national food scene by storm, winning Bon Appetit’s Taco of the Year award and making their Best New Restaurant list in 2016. He recently moved Trompo back into the heart of Oak Cliff in its new home on Jefferson Blvd.
